TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. The Promoter is Brazil Film Festival GPOBOX 2439 SYDNEY NSW 2001 (ABN 91 138 726 066)
  2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  3. Entry is only open to people legally residing in Australia aged 18 years or over.
  4. Director(s)/Manager(s)/Coordinator(s)/Collaborator(s) and immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step- grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, stepsister or 1st cousin.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  6. Multiple entries are not permitted. The winner will need to prove identity as per name and details entered into competition.
  7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  8. Promotion commences on 21/10/2011. Entries close 11.59pm EST on 21/11/2011. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office in Sydney.
  9. The winner will be notified by e-mail and the winner’s name will be posted on the Brazil Film Festival website, facebook and tweeter pages by 25/11/2011.
  10. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize (“the Prize”) offered by Gecko’s Adventure (“Gecko’s”)
  12. The prize is two (2) places for two adults (winner and travelling companion) on any guaranteed Gecko’s 12-day Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro tour (GSBR) tour including the local payment. The winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same tour. Details of the tour can be viewed at: http://www.geckosadventures.com/trips/gsbr. Please note that the itinerary, inclusions and available dates are correct at time of promotion (October 2011) but may change before the winner travels. No compensation will be made for any changes to the itinerary or inclusions. Travel must be completed before 30 September 2012 – NO EXTENSIONS APPLY. Gecko’s takes no responsibility for winners who do not claim their prize within the time period specified. The winner and their companion are to pay for and organise any additional items such as but not limited to their international flights, transfers, pre/post tour accommodation, departure taxes, visas and passport, comprehensive travel insurance (which is compulsory on all Gecko’s tours), additional meals and beverages, sight-seeing and transportation costs outside of the tour program, any fees associated with changing or cancelling the trip after the tour has been confirmed and all other ancillary costs. Booking conditions apply and can be viewed at www.geckosadventures.com. No refund or credit to be given for any unused portion of this prize. The prize cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash. This prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. The winner and their travelling companion must be 18 years of age or over. All tours are subject to availability. The travel dates must be finalised at least 56 days prior to departure. The prize must be booked directly through the Peregrine Travel Centre in Melbourne, details will be advised to the winner. Other conditions may apply. The prize is valued at $4390 as of Friday 30 September. Gecko’s accepts no responsibility for and no compensation will be offered for any fluctuations in the prize value.   13. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated by Gecko’s, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
  14. Entrants consent to the Promoter and Partners using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
